Senior Building Surveyor, Kent

A well established, forward thinking multi disciplinary consultancy with multiple offices that operate in both the public and private sector require an assistant building surveyor to join their growing team. They provide tailored services for clients and support projects across a variety of sectors including Education, Health, Residential, Sports and leisure centres, retail, private developers, local authorities and private developers.
Your new role
The Senior Building Surveyor job consists of autonomously leading and managing projects and tasks from inception to completion, without supervision and with minimal guidance from line management. The role involves working collaboratively with a varied team of construction professionals and stakeholders to allow projects and tasks to be delivered safely on time, and to budget whilst ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
What you'll need to succeed
You will Ideally have Chartered accreditation with at least two years post qualification experience and at least eight years plus relevant experience working within the construction industry in a similar discipline. You will have ability to deliver larger and more complex projects through the whole project lifecycle and excellent experience based technical/project knowledge. You will possess ability to work on own initiative to drive and generate new business, Support junior members of the team with mentoring and development and have excellent knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.
