CAD Design Engineer

Full Time

Outskirts of Maidstone – Must drive due to location

£32k - £35k DOE



This is a great opportunity for a CAD Design Engineer to work for a market leading Engineering company with multiple sites, working in a brand-new workshop environment!

Day to day, in this CAD Design Engineer position, you will be:

Creating both 2D and 3D accurate and detailed designs based on customer specifications, adhering to all relevant standards
Working collaboratively with both production and design teams to ensure the highest standards are met
Producing drawings appropriate for sales pitches, as well as full, detailed drawings to be followed by the manufacturing teams
Offering creative solutions to Engineering problems, thinking innovatively
Meticulous with measurements, carrying out extensive checks and employing metrology techniques
Any other duties required.

To be successful in applying for this CAD Design Engineer role, you will have/be:

Relevant mechanically biased Engineering qualifications  - degree level or equivalent
Exceptional CAD skills, with 2D and 3D experience
Experience working for a related business in a CAD Design based role
Able to use Autodesk Inventor, ideally with certification
Experience working with sheet metal
Great communication skills
