Job Title: Administrator



Location: Ashford, office based



Salary: £24K (£11.83ph)



Contract: Temp to Perm, after 3 months



Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 4pm finish on a Friday



The company we're recruiting for are a leading manufacturer and due to an increase in business they are looking to enhance their Production team with an additional Administrator.

The role will be supporting the existing Administration team with task such as reporting, speaking with customers and general administration.



Main Responsibilities:

* Processing and issuing sales orders
* Updating production order details, including lead times and projected delivery dates
* Ensuring timescales are updated and accurate at all times
* Liaising with customers regarding their orders
* Ensuring customer is contacted before manufacture begins to ensure this is still required within timescale previously provided
* Updating the customer on costing of storage should the need be required
* Updating Customers on any deviation away from agreed program and delivery periods
* Processing, printing and collating production paperwork including certificates and labels
* Working alongside the Production Co-ordinator, acting as the contact hub for customers on all orders being processed, updating customer on lead times when required
* Ensuring all orders despatched have the relevant instruction booklets and that these are attached with the delivery paperwork
* Processing annual leave requests and updating schedules to ensure allocated working hours are correct within the system
* Other administration and reporting as required by the team



Skills required for this position:

* Previous experience working within a Production, Supply Chain or Scheduling role
* Experience working in a Production environment or for a Manufacturing business
* Strong administration within a process driven environment
* Attention to detail and good IT skills
