QS - Main contractor - Kent/London border - Overseeing 3 jobs, totalling £10 mill, Residential £competitive

Your new company
A Well established local main contractor working across the Greater south London areas seek an experienced QS to join the stable team. Projects are typically Residential new builds on behalf of housing associations, average size around 20 units - plus occasional commercial refurbishments. They have longstanding relationships with multiple clients based on previous works and are enjoying a busy few years with approx. 7 live projects and several others due to start. This is a newly created role to expand the existing team and will be office based with site visits as required.

Your new role
You will work alongside a commercial director managing your own projects from preconstruction through to handover, Including sub contract procurement, contract administration, monthly cv'r, agreeing variations, signing off monthly payments etc. You will support the site teams where needed with commercial advice and report to the commercial director a monthly basis.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Quantity surveyor comfortable managing a project form start to finish commercially, You will have experience of working on new build schemes (trad build/low level RC frame) and have competent I/t skills, This is a permanent role and will be based long term in the North Kent area.
