Leigh Academies Trust has an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced, conscientious and personable Office Coordinator to join our central IT Services department, starting as soon as possible.

Our successful candidate will be a pivotal member of our central team, supporting the IT Department on a daily basis and working with a range of internal and external contacts. We're looking for a candidate who can turn their hand to all requirements and can be flexible with day-to-day duties, has excellent communication skills and will manage the smooth day-to-day running of the administration process across the department. A flexible approach with a can-do ethos is required, as is drive, grit and boundless enthusiasm.

Although not limited to, the main duties of this role will include the following:

Provide an effective procurement and administration function within the IT Services department
Maintaining department databases (ie. IT and Marketing asset tracking)
Supporting the IT Procurement Officer with creating operational purchase orders
Inputting all software contracts into the Trust central database repository
Further to this, the Office Coordinator will need to ​​​​​​​proactively support the development of a fast-paced team through effective delivery of administrative services to meet the needs of the IT Services department.​​​​​​​

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2022, our Trust comprises 30 geographically organised academies (14 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
