Finance Business Partner Job based in West Kent - Salary up to £65,000 DOE - (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).

Your new company
My client, a leading public sector business based in West Kent are seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Business Partner to join their expanding team.

Your new role
You will play a leading role supporting senior leadership and be responsible for supporting the Development Team with appraisals, cashflow and sales forecasting and for the day-to-day maintenance of the Group business plan and production of scenarios and sensitivities.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supporting the Development team with the production of Development appraisals, and financial analysis of new business
* Production of the annual update of the Development appraisal assumptions
* Production of Development scheme capital monitoring and Finance input into end of scheme reporting
* Management Accounts production for subsidiary development business
* Supporting in the producing cashflow and financial forecasts to feed into the monthly reporting cycle
* Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the 30-year business plan, including a quarterly update of the business plan and regular sensitivity and scenario planning.
* Responsible for finance input into capital grant processes and accounting.
* Support in the production of the annual FFR Return to the Regulator.
* Finance support for the production of the Development and Sales budgets (revenue and capital)
* Responsible for providing insightful and intelligent analysis on the key drivers impacting business performance and suggesting solutions to drive improvements in financial performance.
* The post holder will need to be able to explain complex financial information to colleagues and stakeholders with no financial knowledge, with ease.
* Responsible for personal learning and development, ensuring up to date technical knowledge and expertise, along with the regular training of budget holders within the organisation

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an accomplished financial business partner with relevant financial qualifications and a demonstrated history of delivering in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge to the Housing sector would be highly advantageous as is prior 'Development Finance' experience. You will need to be able to support and influence effective working relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholder groups. As well as having advanced stakeholder skills, personal drive and ambition to make a difference. Strong experience of setting development and sales budgets (capital and revenue) as well as experience of completing the FFR Return to the Regulator of Social Housing is desired. Knowledge and skills in using Brixx / Business Planning Software, Cloud Financials and Collaborative Planning would be useful.
