The starting hourly rate is from £10.55 per hour, rising up to £12.66 per hour (after probation) depending on the shift pattern you choose (with an opportunity to progress up to an hourly rate of £14.52).

The ideal person we are seeking:

The key factor for this client is they are looking to attract individuals with a willingness to learn all about production and is offering FULL TRAINING!
A positive attitude is a must together with the ability to work as a team player considered essential.

All new employees will commence as trainee operatives in order to complete their training and development program within the business.
This will enable you to understand all process, procedures, machines and products during this time, once your probation is passed you will receive promotion and a pay increase to Production Operative.

What does the position involve?
You will be required to work as part of team assisting with the production of finished goods on fully automated production lines to the required standards explained in your training.
You will also monitor or assist in the operation of a production line or single machine and follow standard operating procedures also outlined in your training.

Skills & competencies required:
A good understanding of verbal/written English in order to understand the training
Basic understanding of mathematics.
Computer literacy
The ability to take instruction from a team or line leader

Salary/rate of pay:
From £10.55 per hour after probation, up to £12.66 per hour depending on shift pattern (with the opportunity to progress up to an hourly rate of £14.52)

Shift patterns:
You can choose fixed days or fixed night shifts.
12 hour shifts working a 4 days on 4 days off basis.
Day shift: 6am -6pm
Night shift: 6pm – 6am
Holidays entitlement: 23 shifts/days Inc Bank Holidays (can buy/sell up to 3 shifts/days)
