HR and Organisational Development
Resourcing Assistant
Permanent
£23,144 – £24,948 per annum (with progression opportunities to £26,396 per annum)
Due to internal progression within our HR and Organisational Development team we are excited to be recruiting for a Resourcing Assistant to join us on a permanent basis.
Whilst this is a full-time role, the University has a flexible working policy so all hours and working patterns can be explored.
We want to find the very best people to work at CCCU and our vision is to create an inspiring place for people to work and achieve their full potential whilst delivering the University’s ambitions.
To help us achieve this, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process for staff recruitment, ensuring that recruitment needs are met swiftly, efficiently, and cost-effectively by overseeing processes and driving best practice. You will provide professional guidance at every stage of recruitment.
Partnering with Recruiting Managers to advise on campaign timelines and advertising strategy, you will be working in a vibrant team to ensure that each stage is delivered to a high standard, from job description and advert development through to managing social media advertising, headhunting and sourcing candidates using a wide variety of platforms.
We are at an exciting point in the delivery of the University’s People Strategy, and this role will give you the opportunity to innovate and to contribute to project work that will shape the future of resourcing practice at Canterbury Christ Church University.
With a focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion you will be working closely with other teams to implement positive changes within the Recruitment process.
Working as part of a team will be important to you, and you will enjoy both managing your own workloads alongside working with other team members to ensure the broader workloads are covered and excellence in customer service maintained. You will be detail orientated with solid experience of administration and, ideally, a broad experience of recruiting for positions at every level. You will be able to demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and IT skills.
We work in a hybrid way that ensures we are flexible to both business and individual needs and remain connected to each other and our campus. In practice this means a mix of days working in Canterbury and our other campuses, alongside the flexible choice of working from home too if that suits you.
For further information please contact Hannah Todd at hannah.todd@canterbury.ac.uk – Resourcing Manager (strictly no agencies, thank you) quoting reference number REQ03896.
Start date for applications: 06/01/2023
Closing date for applications: 22/01/2023
Interviews are to be held: 30/01/2023
Additional Information
Prior consideration will be given to applicants in the University’s redeployment pool.
