Maintenance Shift Engineer

Medway (drivers with own transport only due to location)

Salary - £30k - 44k DOE + Overtime

Full time Permanent - Day and night shift alternate weeks



Days

Mon - Thurs: 6am - 3.30pm

Friday: 6am - 4pm



Nights (4 nights)

Mon - Thurs: 6pm - 6am



Our well established, heavy industrial client have a brand-new opportunity in Medway for a Maintenance Shift Manager to join them working alternate weeks days and nights, with plenty of well-paid overtime available!

Duties include:

* Carrying out all planned and preventative maintenance, offering support with the implementation of engineering solutions and cost-effective repairs
* Working to all relevant targets
* Managing and maintaining engineering stores including stock assessment and inventory levels
* Supporting other teams on site
* Ensuring plant and facilities are maintained to high standards
* Recording and reporting all work
* Ensuring all work complies with SHE guidelines
* Any other duties required

You will be / have:

* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 minimum in an Electrical discipline
* Either 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations qualification
* Some experience in a relevant role - post apprenticeship candidates considered!
* Previous exposure to PLC systems - Siemens or Allen Bradley preferred
* Able to work effectively in a team
