A Supply Chain Planner is required to join a leading global manufacturing business based in the Medway Towns. This role is available for immediate start and will join an existing team within the business.

Working for a renowned business in the Medway area, you will be an experienced supply chain operator familiar with the processes required by a manufacturing business. Liaising with the Master Production Scheduler to ensure that the plans are finalised and the details is shared with the production teams and supply chain teams to ensure demand is met.

Responsible for maintaining and managing sufficient inventory to support the production schedule and raise PO's in line with the schedule. You will be confident to escalate and communicate any errors, discrepancies or supply chain issues to the wider teams. Ideal candidates will have experience of managing suppliers and negotiating/sourcing alternative supply chains as required.
You will be familiar and competent with ERP systems and use of Excel. It would be advantageous if you have a foreign language skill.

Your skills will allow you to resolve and offer solutions proactively across the production or supply chain activities and keep calm in a fast pace and pressurised manufacturing environment. Your prior experience will allow you to demonstrate you are a team player with a strong self-motivated work ethic.

It is preferred for you to have demonstrable experience within a Manufacturing / Engineering environment.
