Background of Department/Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking for a new challenge within the Business Operations Team (Faculty of Medicine, Health and Social Care). Reporting to the Business and Finance Team Leader, you will assist with transactional business and finance support for the faculty with responsibilities including, but not limited to, processing procurement/sales requests, organising payments to sessional staff, administering workshops, web development and processing external stakeholder funding.
The post holder will be expected to liaise closely with external stakeholders and colleagues in the Accounts department and deputise for the Team Leader when required. This role would suit a candidate who enjoys supporting a wide range of business and finance functions.
The Person
You will be educated to GCSE standard or an equivalent with experience of providing direct support in a professional office or similar environment. An understanding of business and finance processes would be desirable.
