We are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable General Maintenance Team Member to join our Facilities Team.

This a permanent position and duties will include; targeting leaks to showers and bathrooms, repairing any associated water damage, repairs to doors and furniture and general maintenance type duties.

To be successful in this role you will be able to work independently to a high standard, taking pride in the quality of work is essential. Experience in fault finding, general plumbing, carpentry and decorating skills are essential as well as working safely and methodically.

This position will support the Maintenance Supervisor in completion of other tasks as directed to support operations of the department and ensure College buildings are kept in good repair.

NVQ Level 2 in Building Maintenance preferred or evidence of relevant experience.

Working hours;
Monday – Friday - Full time
Saturday 08:00 – 13:00 (7 per year)

The requirements of this role will necessitate occasional evening and weekend work as well as providing cover for the Caretaker role as necessary.
