Logistics Coordinator

Salary up to £30,000 per annum DOE

Permanent, 40 hours p/w 8am-5pm

Mid Kent - Maidstone



Brand new role, working as the Logistics Coordinator within a well-established global Engineering company located on the outskirts of Maidstone.

We are looking for a passionate Logistics professional keen to work for a successful business with career progression opportunities for this full time, permanent position.



Duties will be varied include:

* Supporting with ensuring the smooth running of the materials, warehousing and supply chain functions
* Assisting in the shipment of products, including tracking and reporting the status of all imports and exports
* Undertaking SAP operation tasks, not limited to but including stock receipt, material issue, current inventory, inventory adjustment, material usage, stock failure, purchases/sales offer
* Supporting in movement, organisation, tracking and safety of equipment and goods within the warehouse
* Document and data management; attention to detail critical
* Managing parts, ensuring that supply meets demand
* Maintaining records of equipment exported for trade shows and customer demonstrations
* Responsible for material handling and packing items
* Heavy lifting required and movement of boxes
* Any other duties as required



The successful candidate will have/ be:

* Previous experience within Material and Inventory Control Management
* An understanding of word processing, documenting and logging international receipts
* Relevant experience in a similar position
* A strong self-starter
* Previous experience of Quality Assurance
* A good understanding of MS Office, SAP is a plus
* The ability to work well as a team as well as independently
* An excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering customer service
