A brand new opportunity for a Risk Management specialist to join my client's team in West Malling. The ideal candidate will come from a Financial Services / Banking background and will have extensive Risk knowledge and experience. You will be responsible for the bank's data and GDPR requirements ad monitoring.



Duties include (not exhaustive):



* Implementing and embedding the Bank's risk management framework across 1LOD; providing support when required
* Working closely alongside 2LOD colleagues in order to maintain the RMF
* Reviewing the risk appetite statement
* Providing knowledge on risk management techniques and implementing this into the business' risk function
* Work closely with the 2LOD teams to ensure risk and controls implemented appropriately within Bank Operations
* Responsible for the holistic risk analysis of the Bank
* Management and deployment of an audit programme
* Completing risk control and self assessment (RCSA) within 1LOD
* Providing training to 1LOD in order to build risk awareness



The successful candidate will have / be:



* Previous experience in a managerial/supervisory role
* Have extensive knowledge of risk management and able to share this knowledge with colleagues
* In depth knowledge of currently risk management techniques
* FCA and Ombudsman awareness
