Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid, 1 day in the office per week
I am working with a large UK company who are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with knowledge of Windows Server, VMware and Azure to be part of a team who deal with the ongoing support and development of the company infrastructure.
The role will involve BAU support of issues raised by the helpdesk as well as involvement on projects relating to upgrade, migrations and enhancements.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience of managing small technical projects from conception through to completion
* Strong Windows Server architecture, configuring and supporting virtualisation technologies, particularly VMware vSphere and Azure
* Excellent skill sets in Microsoft Exchange
* Excellent experience in administering Microsoft Active Directory Domain services
* Experience supporting Microsoft Windows client Operating systems
* Excellent experience with HP Enterprise server architecture and SAN technologies
* Knowledge of Network switched infrastructures
* Previously worked with backup solutions for VMware vSphere in particular Veeam
* Experience in Cisco switched and routing technologies (desirable)
* Experience configuring and maintaining industry standard firewalls and VPNs (desirable)
