Job Title: Inventory and Stores Manager
Salary: £33,500 - 37,500
Location: Maidstone
Great opportunity for an experienced Inventory and Stores Manager to join this Health sector organisation based in mid Kent.
Duties include:
* Planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating strategic inventory processing and stock control across the organisation.
* Ensuring relevant KPIs achieved, and best Value for Money, without impacting patient care and clinical operations.
* Managing the Inventory and Stores team, including appraisals, training, and performance management.
* Overseeing stock replenishment and delivery across the organisation to achieve optimal operational stock levels whilst avoiding obsolescence and over stocking, including leading on stocktakes.
* Working closely with Finance and Procurement Systems Managers.
* Support with designing, rolling out, and using IT infrastructure to support Procurement and Stores management.
The successful candidate will have/be:
* Solid experience within a similar role in the sector.
* Demonstrable ability to build a team, inspiring, leading, and gaining trust.
* Experience of leading and implementing change.
* CIPS at Diploma level or above, with evidence of ongoing CPD.
* Strong commercial acumen and a passion for continuous service improvement.
* A highly motivated self-starter.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a record of effective partnership working with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
