This is an exciting opportunity for someone with drive and vision to lead our expanding Social Prescribing service in Kent and Medway. This is a key role, with day-to-day responsibility for operational activities; working with the Head of Service to ensure quality standards are met.

As Operations Manager, you will effectively lead and manage Social Prescribers in a range of roles, supporting a cohesive team structure in line with our values. You’ll model and share best practice in patient engagement, ensure staff receive appropriate training and developmental feedback, and support their career and personal development aspirations. It’s important that you can communicate openly and effectively.

You will work closely with local Primary Care Networks to ensure the service supports patients to engage in improving their own health and wellbeing, ensuring that data monitoring is in place that demonstrates benefits and impact. You should be confident communicating at all levels, able to work collaboratively with local partners, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and commissioners.

Applicants must have relevant professional experience of working in a social care environment, and experience of managing and leading a service supporting vulnerable adults or patients. You should have strong organisation and IT skills.

We have several offices across the area, so base is flexible. Car driver is essential.
