Job Title: Junior Timber Frame Designer

Location: Near Canterbury

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch

Salary: £20k-£24k

Due to the expansion of both our clients UK operations and the expanding customer base they are looking to appoint a Junior Timber Frame Designer to join their team and progress as the company grows. They will offer full training on their specialist management and timber frame software with potential to move into further positions as you progress.

This position involves:

* Preparation of full design drawings for client approval.
* Completion of cutting lists, schedules and design drawings for manufacture and site construction.
* Providing technical assistance and direction to onsite erection teams and client queries.

Essential skills required for this job:

* Experience in AutoCAD.
* Previous experience in timber frame, engineered floor and roof truss software (Consultec, Mitek, Wolf, ITW) would be beneficial but is not essential.
* Excellent numerical and communication skills.
* Good attention to detail and a 'get it right first time' attitude.
* A dedicated, trustworthy, reliable and honest individual with a passion for timber engineering & construction.
* Excellent team working skills.
