Rare opportunities have arisen within a large and very successful civil engineering company located on the outskirts of Maidstone for Trainee Materials Site Technicians.
No experience is necessary for the entry level trainee positions as full training will be given- A great opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in the construction industry.
Your main duties will include preparing samples for testing, testing samples, recording your findings and updating daily work records as required.
Ideally you will be educated to GCSE or equivalent in Maths, have excellent numerical and communication skills, be able to accurately record data and have a "can do" attitude. You will have a full driving licence as you will be required to drive a company vehicle and CSCS is advantageous but not essential as the company will put you through the scheme.
You will be working 45 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
You may be asked to stay away or work night shifts now and again, in return for this you will be paid overtime and stay away allowances.
Successful candidates will have the ability to progress through the pay bandings.
