Do you love cooking but are fed up with unsociable hours?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a leading company that has just built its own onsite kitchen. This will be your own domain and you will have the autonomy to set the menus and run the kitchen as you see fit.

For the staff maybe you will do Fish n Chip Fridays? Or bacon butties before the shift starts work?

The restaurant will be subsidised so it is going to be a busy role.

The role in summary
 To provide everyday catering services for the staff and visitors on site.
 To design, cost out and prepare a two-week menu for breakfast and lunch items, ensuring the staff on site have a daily healthy, enticing variety of meals available to them
 To ensure a high standard of nutrition, hygiene and safety is maintained
 Order all ingredients and items needed, including drinks, etc. within budget
 Ensuring the efficient running of the kitchen, checking equipment, and taking responsibility for stock rotation and
control
 Providing suitable catering for visitors as required, sometimes having an input into the menu planning
 Ensuring that all other food and beverage requirements are catered for, such as tea/coffee facilities, etc
 Ensuring that all invoices are processed via the accounts department

What we are looking for -
 2-5 years of appropriate experience within the catering industry

Demonstrable experience in -
 in planning, cooking, and presenting meals taking into account the needs of our team
 Suitably qualified in catering, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
 Ability to work autonomously
 Able to work within a budget and menu plan
 Good communicator with a natural enthusiasm for the role
