SLEEPING NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER – ASHFORD

£9.50 - £18.00 per hour

A fantastic opportunity to join an established care team as a *Female Sleeping Night Support Worker working with an engaging 14-year-old girl based close to Ashford. The family are looking for Sleeping Night Support Workers to provide additional support to the Waking Night Carers when required overnight. 

Our Client is a 14-year-old girl who suffered a traumatic brain injury and as a result, has severe physical and cognitive impairments. She needs full support in all areas of her day-to-day life including personal care, nutrition, mobility, therapy and psychological needs.

Our Client is encouraged to live as full and comfortable a life as possible, and during day time hours enjoys social and recreational activities including visiting cafes, shopping and attending her hydrotherapy sessions.  She also loves animals.

Rates of Pay

Monday to Friday:             19:30 – 22:00 and 06:00 – 06:30       £16.00 per hour

Saturday & Sunday:          19:30 – 22:00 and 06:00 – 06:30      £18.00 per hour

Monday to Sunday:           22:00 – 06:00 National Minimum Wage (currently £9.50 per hour)

Hours of Work

 

Night Shift Hours are 19:30 - 06:30 (11 hours per shift).

Please note we are also looking for Support Workers, Bank Support Workers and A Waking  Night Support Worker to join this established care team.

Must be female*Fit, energetic and enthusiasticExperience of working with clients with complex care needs would be an advantageExperience of working as a Support Worker is essentialAble to offer flexibility to accompany the Client on family holidaysComfortable with using basic IT skills and handling equipment to ensure the client can access the full range of resources which is crucial in her day-to-day lifeFull clean UK driving licence is essential
