Part-Time Food Production Operative (with Level 1 Food Hygiene)
Staplehurst - Must have own transport
Ideally 3 days a week, 7am - 3pm
£9.50PH
Due to increasing workload my client is looking for an experienced Production Operative to join them initially on a temporary basis.
Longer term, you could potentially be considered for permanent opportunities if they do well in the role, but this would be assessed further down the line.
Duties
* To take full responsibility of preparing fresh foods - weighing and cutting etc
* Packing and labelling foods
* Quality controlling and reporting any issues
* Tidying & cleaning
* Communication with Customer Services/other departments as needed
* Working as part of a team and doing other ad-hoc jobs as needed
* Ensure that all health and safety / food hygiene procedures are followed
Requirements
* Experience in a fresh food production-based business
* Must have level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate
* Own transport is essential
* Experience labelling and packing foods
* Excellent spelling, grammar, and numeracy skills
* Good IT skills - Use of WMS, MRP/ERP would be ideal
