KHR is currently recruiting for a leading residential property developer based in Sevenoaks; who at present has a rare opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for the opportunity to join an industry leader as part of an established and collaborative team of 11.

Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include:

- Managing supplier accounts split
- Ensure all relevant documentation related to payment of invoices is accurate and in-house procedures have been followed
- Liaise with and be a point of contact for all suppliers/heads of departments who may have queries regarding outstanding invoices or account balances
- Ensure correct coding of invoices
- Checking, matching, and processing invoices within the accounting system
- Resolving invoice queries in a timely manner
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records regarding queried invoices, including reasons for holding and actions taken to resolve
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Setting up of suppliers onto the accounting system with full and complete checks
- Supporting the wider Finance department in ad-hoc tasks
- Submit sub-contractor payments including CIS deductions and DRC
- Processing of staff expenses

Candidate Profile

- Previous experience in a similar finance role
- AAT qualified or studying towards - advantageous
- Knowledge of CIS payments - is desirable
- Previous experience using an accounting system
- Strong commercial outlook
- A good team player
