We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our Regulatory Reporting and ALM Analyst for CAF Bank.
You will be an integral part of our CAF Bank Finance team, who deliver all the financial management for CAF’s banking subsidiary providing core banking services (for example, transactional banking, lending, cards) to the charity sector. You will be responsible for the preparation and submission of regulatory returns, monthly MI, stress testing and reports, along with process improvements and providing regulatory support for CAF Bank division.

As our Regulatory Reporting and ALM Analyst your key responsibilities will include:
• Prepare and publish daily/monthly management information, supporting reconciliation files, executive and Board reports for CAF Bank.
• Lead the teams preparation and submission of regulatory reporting returns and requirements to the FCA, PRA, EBA and Bank of England, whilst ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Lead the teams migration to new regulatory reporting platforms along with implementing changes to regulatory returns. Support and train less experience members of the team in all areas of regulatory reporting.
• Assist with preparation and analysis of the Bank’s income projections in the budgeting and forecasting process. Prepare papers and present financial updates to various committees, minute taking as required.
• Manage the teams processing of investment transactions including placements, maturities and re-pricing, treasury team transactions. Manage the teams processes resulting from Base Rate changes. Assist the Head of Regulatory Reporting and ALM with IRRBB projections, and monitoring of internal trigger mechanisms.
• Assist with preparation, development and analysis of the Bank’s Pillar 3 report, stress testing, ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP and quarterly ARCC and Board reports.
• Lead the development of Finance’s management information and reporting. Work with the Head of Regulatory Reporting and ALM to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions. Develop and document new processes and procedures.
• Produce accurate data in a range of formats, often at short notice for a range of audiences. Produce detailed analysis using advanced Excel skills as required and under time constraints. Provide regulatory and finance support and assistance to the CAF Bank senior management team and CAF Bank division as required.

Skills required of our Regulatory Reporting and ALM Analyst:
• Preparation and analysis of data for publishing MI reports to organisation stakeholders
• In depth knowledge of financial reporting, financial control and monthly reporting processes (e.g. management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations)
• Experience of preparing BoE, FCA, PRA and EBA returns
• Highly competent in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work to work autonomously and support the team, with a flexible approach to changing deadlines and priorities
• ACCA Part Qualified or equivalent
