Key Skills:
Recognised professional qualification and/or postgraduate academic training in a related field at National Qualifications Level 6 or above. The post holder will take a senior role in creating the infrastructure and systems to ensure that every person supported at Cedar has a comprehensive BSP that is implemented effectively and regularly reviewed and updated.

The role will focus on the systematic embedding of our model of care, with the primary objective of supporting people to move into appropriate community-based support services (wherever possible).
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, driven, compassionate and committed PBS Practitioner to join our team. This person will be passionate about working with individuals who have complex behavioural support needs and demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people that we support.
This job description is based upon PBS Academy Practitioner Standards for the Higher-Level Behaviour Specialist / Organisational / Consultant practitioner and focusses on the three key areas of PBS practice. In line with the recommendations from these standards, the post holder will:

Take a senior role related to embedding PBS into and across the hospital, and for building the capacity for the delivery of PBS throughout the workforce.
Â
Demonstrate the expert clinical competencies required for the most complex systems and cases.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities; the post holder may be required to undertake other duties following appropriate discussion with their line manager.
