You’ll work to support people who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness. You’ll provide support to people who could be experiencing a range of issues, including mental health, substance misuse and domestic abuse. You’ll help them overcome the trauma of homelessness and rebuild their lives.
This role will include working with clients in supported accommodation, rough sleepers and those experiencing unstable housing in the community.
The role requires:
An understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people – you may have had personal experience of homelessness yourself.
Experience of helping vulnerable and complex people and supporting them through a process of change.
A sound understanding of the support needs of people who are experiencing homelessness or with low incomes, including rent payments/arrears
A commitment to supporting people by helping them to build on their strengths
Fixed Term until September 2022
Working on a rota pattern.
