ATAC Solutions Ltd – Junior CAD Design Engineer

The successful candidate will be required to design and develop 2D Drawings, 3D models,
P&IDs, and Schedules. Designing equipment, pipework, and access solutions.
An understanding of both fabrication/manufacturing processes off site, along with the
practicalities of onsite installation will be required.
Working closely with our Projects, Process, and Operations teams, the focus will be to
produce effective workable solutions based around our established product designs whilst
observing the appropriate industry and client standards.
Duties to include:
- Generate 2D and 3D based technical drawings and models based upon the
information provided by the client and the ATAC team
- Generate fabrication drawings, Bill of Materials and P&IDs
- Develop and maintain 3D models using Autodesk Inventor
- Undertake occasional site visits
- Be an integral part of regular design reviews
- Applying engineering design principles to ensure compliance to specifications
- Reporting to senior CAD engineer
- Work effectively at part of a team and individually
- Ability to multitask and work to deadlines and have great attention to detail
- Be self-motivated and have an organised approach to work
Applicants should be familiar with the following software:
- Autodesk Inventor or equivalent 3D software
- Autodesk AutoCAD (2D)
- Microsoft Office suite
Also advantageous are:
- Autodesk Vault (Basic)
- I-logic
- Sheet Metal
- Plant 3D
An Engineering degree and industry experience are preferable.
Permanent position based in offices in Maidstone/Kent
Salary £20, 000 - £28, 000 per annum (dependent on experience)
