Job Role: Quality Technologist
Salary : 25k

Location: Aylesford

Hours: 6.30am-2.30pm Monday to Friday (Hybrid)



An exciting opportunity has landed for a Quality Technologist to join a well-established company based in Aylesford a full-time permanent basis working within an inclusive and thriving team.

The focus of this position is to ensure compliance to the food safety quality and legal requirements of the company are complaint, accurate and adhered to.

Duties include;

* Investigate, monitor, and follow up any internal non conformances
* Work closely with HACCP team to seek business improvements
* Regularly conduct audits as required for production (glass, plastic, GMP, hygiene, temperature and chemical concentration)
* Act as the first point of contact from production for deviations and document control
* Provide day to day support to quality department
* Environmental and allergen monitoring -conducting swabs and reporting on results and conducting annual risk assessments

* Coordinating finished products and RM sample analysis with internal and external laboratories and actively collating analysis results and positively releasing finished product.

* Actively verifying batch documents and labels prior to releasing them to production for manufacture

* Complete daily quality activities related to the sampling, testing, reporting and releasing of finished products



To be considered for this exciting Technical Intern role you will have/be;

* Demonstrable experience working within a quality or technical role within the FMCG or Manufacturing industry
* IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Especially proficient in Excel
* Organised with a high level of attention to detail
* Ability to pick up new systems
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* The ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
