PA/Carer role available in Ashford, Kent.

My interests include fresh water fishing, and I like listening to most sorts of music, from jazz to rock, and reading, currently I’m enjoying reading action books. I like watching documentaries on the TV, I definitely don’t watch soap operas! I live with my supportive wife who I have been married to for many years.”

Personal Assistant required for a man who is living with a stroke, MS and diabetes. He does have mood swings, which is as a result of his medical conditions, when these happen his wife will be able to support him. Support will be needed with maintaining personal hygiene, including washing. There may be occasions where support will be needed with the commode, however, this is decreasing. The PA will be asked to support with food and drink preparation in the afternoon and evening. There might be a requirement to carry out small domestic tasks around the home.

Applicant must have good communication skills and organisation skills. If you are patient, confident, outgoing with a sense of humour, this role is suited for you.

Working days will be discussed at the interview and can be flexible. Extra hours may be available to cover other PA holiday/sickness leave etc.
