A family-owned business has a reputation for both excellent customer service and growing outstanding plants. Due to expansion a vacancy has arisen in our Accounts team to support the growing needs of the business.
They have a vacancy for a Head Office Cashier and Purchase Ledger Assistant based in Knockholt.
Duties will include:
· Counting and reconciling cash taken at all sites to daily till reconciliations
· Reconciling receipts taken against daily postings to Xero
· Reconciling suspense accounts on Xero
· Banking cash, ordering coin and redeeming vouchers
· Counting and reconciling safe totals
· Petty cash payments and reconciliation
· Processing purchase invoices to Xero
· Filing invoices, reconciling statements and dealing with supplier queries
· Ad hoc admin jobs as required by the team
Key Skills required for the role:
· 2+ years of accounting administration experience
· Knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software
· Good Excel spreadsheet skills
· Good maths skills
· Precision
· Ability to work as part of a team
In return you will receive a competitive salary, Company pension scheme, 28 days’ holiday (pro-rata’d), staff discount, and Healthcare Cashback scheme.
24-30 hours a week, salary 24k (pro-rata’d, depending on experience)
Own transport arrangements are essential
