Inventory Controller required to take up a leading, deputy level role within an existing team and who will be responsible for overseeing, leading and contributing to the picking, supply and distribution of spare parts to meet the objectives and demands of a high end retail market business.
The role demands a fast and precise worker, who must be able to work autonomously and deploy initiative and a natural, critical thinking ability in day-to-day decision-making and problem solving and provide outstanding customer service, internally and externally.
Key areas of focus will include supporting management of the ERP systems, with scheduled regression testing and a continuous focus on improvement, so a demonstrable experience in this area is required along with report writing to share high-level reports such as monthly consumptions/stock anomalies/MRP analysis to the Materials Manager. You will be confident with your data analysis skills to work autonomously and deploy initiative and a natural, critical thinking ability in day-to-day decision-making and problem solving.
The role will focus on ensuring quick and efficient process flows are continuously maintained throughout the Spare Parts department, and motivating the team to inspire, achieve and maintain a productive team ethos and spirit, leading by example and deputising for the Materials Manager when required.
To be successful in your application you will need to have previous experience in Logistical Operations, Stock Control, team leadership, ERP/MRP skills, strong data analysis, hold solid numerical skills and be a confident communicator. Alongside this your IT skills will include confident ability in MS Suite (especially Outlook and Excel and Business Intelligence Reporting
