Location: Ashford

Salary: £60k

Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week between 8am - 6pm, with the option to work from home 2-3 times a week

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

* Develop and implement the HR and People strategies aligned to the business
* Support and coach the management team on all people leadership matters, including business change
* Ensure the business is resourced with the right people, in the right place and available at the right time.
* Drive outstanding performance.
* As the gatekeeper of fairness; own EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity).
* Forming strong relationships with the management team to be able to challenge and coach in a high performance environment.
* Lead the work to regularly review the company's talent management processes within the business, including performance/potential management, resource planning and succession
* Provide insight and recommendations on HR initiatives that can be leveraged to strengthen business results e.g. leadership/development programmes.
* Working with senior managers to uncover the talent implications e.g. any significant gaps to meet long-term objectives and create a long-term workforce plan that prioritises people-related
* Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
* Liaise with Directors and Managers to understand their HR requirements and ensure they are fully informed of the corporate HR strategy.
* Update HR Systems with timely, relevant forms, policies and procedures to ensure accessibility for employees at all times.
* To facilitate as a mediator when required to try and resolve employee
* To manage the long service rewards and ensures employees are notified of qualifying rewards in a timely and accurate manner.
* Ensure the exit interview process is carried out in accordance with procedure and action plans are put in place to address any shortcomings.
* Drive the sickness absence management procedures and advise line Managers accordingly of any breaches and manage these as per the policy.
* Utilise the Occupational Health & absence reporting services to improve attendance levels.
* Contribute/ lead on the development and delivery of key HR projects that deliver improved HR performance.
* To improve employee engagement levels by working with the Senior Leadership Teams on the items that will make a real difference.
* To deliver and report on the annual employee engagement survey to ensure feedback from employees is collated and interpreted correctly to help improve employee
* Monitor and manage information flow to payroll in respect of new employees, changes to terms and conditions and resignations and ensure compliance with delegated authority
* Lead the TUPE process, supplying and obtaining relevant information, carrying out consultation interviews as required and effecting TUPE transfers.
* Manage company benefits (Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, Pension, EAP, Cycle to work scheme).

Experience and skills required for this position:

* CIPD qualified Level 5+
* Proven track record as a HR generalist, preferably in a senior role
* Experience of designing and delivering coaching/mentoring, learning and development and talent management
* Interpersonal relationships, discretion and confidentiality
* Strong knowledge of employment law
* Recruitment and selection experience
* Experience in design and writing HR policies, procedures, offer letters and contracts of employment.
* Knowledge of payroll and payroll procedures
