Working as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Financial Accounting at Kent Business School is to be part of the 1% of global business schools to gain ‘Triple Crown’ accreditation from three top business organisations: European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and The Association of MBAs (AMBA). Although the post holder will provide teaching in the core areas of Financial Accounting, you will also be expected to support the Department in the integration of sustainability-related themes into the current Accounting curriculum and develop new modules in the area of Sustainable Accounting/Accounting for Sustainability.

You will have previous teaching experience, and a clearly defined research agenda with a track record of regularly publishing in top peer-reviewed journals. Evidence of income generation, impactful research, or corporate engagement is expected in the case of appointments at Senior Lecturer level.

We encourage applications from research-led educators with experience in demand-driven curriculum development, technology-enabled learning, and/or executive education and Higher and Degree Apprenticeships. Although based at Canterbury, you may be expected to take up teaching and other responsibilities at the University’s other campuses, study centres and off campus for the delivery of Higher and Degree Apprenticeships.
