Job Purpose : Work across operations, technical and engineering operations to deliver manufacturing engineering improvements across a breadth of activities; supporting existing and new products, defining new and supporting existing processes, FMEA/RFMEA process documentation and lead on root cause analysis and problem solving

Qualifications:
* Degree educated in an engineering discipline or significant experience within an engineering environment or Time Served Engineer * Lean certification (highly desirable).
* Project Management (essential).

Experience:
* Hands on experience of CNC machining processes in a production environment - grinding, turning, milling etc * Proven experience of supporting and working within multi-discipline teams.
* Demonstrate knowledge of EH&S requirements and methods of assessment * Considerable change management experience; understands the change management cycle and experience of delivering therein.
* Experienced practitioner of continuous improvement techniques
* Understanding of engineered drawings and geometric tolerancing.

* Design capability using CAD/Solidworks alongside MS Suite of packages including Access and PM
