A Support Worker required to support a young boy with tracheostomy in Whitstable, Kent. On Personal Budget Scheme, the Support Worker will be responsible to support the child at home and in school and participate in a variety of recreational, educational, and social activities.
The ideal Support Worker will: -
- Have experience in caring for children with complex disabilities
- Have previous experience with breathing and tracheostomy management
- Have previous experience with PEG feeding
- Have previous experience with nebuliser and
- Demonstrate the ability to build good relationships with the child, family and school
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality and privacy
- Be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Day and Night shifts are available. FT/ PT, Flexible work pattern. Excellent pay and holiday package. Appropriate training will be provided
