Are you an experienced PA/Administrator, with a background of working efficiently and with discretion to support senior managers? If so this role could be ideal. We are currently looking to appoint a PA to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) for a fixed term period of 12 months, on a full time basis.

In this role, your primary responsibility is to support the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) (Education and Student Experience). You will provide a range of administrative, clerical and secretarial support to ensure the smooth management of day to day affairs and ensure the most effective use of time. This will require planning and prioritisation in a fast-paced and challenging working environment. Much of the work is of a sensitive and highly confidential nature, and as such you will be required to exercise judgement and discretion at all times.

As PA to the DVC you will:

Provide a personal and confidential Personal Assistant to DVC (E&SE)
Organise the diary for the Director of Financial Improvement
Plan and organise events and service meetings and committees as appropriate
Provide a range of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of DVC (ESE)’s office
To be successful in the role you will have:

Proven PA/Administrative experience at a senior level
Proficiency in Office 365, including Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy at all times
Experience of taking minutes
