An exceptional opportunity with a global manufacturing client and key employer within the area for a permanent Senior Project Manager.

The Must Haves:
• We are looking for a dynamic individual with proven experience in managing innovation and development projects, particularly within the
FMCG sector, to achieve successful project outcomes
• Previous experience of managing people
• You will require the ability to manage complex cross functional projects
• Experience in managing and mitigating risk
• A project management qualification would be considered desirable, ie. IPMA, APM, PMI, Prince2

Additional qualities we are searching for would include:
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Solid organisational skills
• A bias for action with a professional and positive approach
• Driving licence required, must be prepared for occasional travel
• Any French language skills would be considered an advantage although non-essential

• Attractive hybrid working role, so 50% based in the office and 50% working from home.
• 37 hours per week with an early finish on a Friday!

Management Responsibilities:
• The role of Senior Project Manager will have direct line management over a team of 3 Project Managers, responsible for ongoing
mentoring and development of the PM’s were required.
• Responsibility also for operational task management of the project teams that you manage.
• Demonstrate good communication with team members
• Effective team building an inter-relationships

The Position Itself:
• To achieve company objectives for organic growth, it is important that New Product Development is effectively and efficiently delivered on
time in full and on cost
• The role involves the professional project management of new product launches and product changes for a portfolio of projects
determined via Stage Gate process
• Leading cross functional project teams in Europe and other international organisations, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple
projects room initial feasibility through to launch implementation
• This roe will also include management of R & D and Supply Chain projects across the company’s European organisation

General Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Overall responsibility for driving a project on time, in full and on cost
• Overall project leadership for a portfolio of projects across several brands
• Facilitate the definition of project goals, objectives, scope, milestones and deliverables
• Ensure full feasibility analyses (technical and commercial assessment)
• Define project tasks
• Develop the full scale project schedule and manage project against that schedule
• Ensure project risks are assessed, managed and mitigated
• Project progress – both in Europe and internationally
• Report and escalate issues to management as required
• Change management and change control
• Co-ordinate creation of Master Data
• Manage smooth transition from project to first production
• Post Project evaluation
• Deputising for Head of PMO when required
