My client a large Software House are looking for a Software Tester to join their dynamic engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Software Tester who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will work alongside passionate engineers and product teams to design, develop and ensure the quality of their product suite.
As a Software Tester, you drive the test automation strategy for both performance and functional tests and define quality goals. You will work to meet the quality objectives established by the organization, presenting a vision for what a best-in-class test organization looks like. You will evangelize Software Testing best practices and establish a vision to take the organization from good to great.
What you'll be doing
Define and implement a test automation strategy including a QA roadmap, evaluating current QA tools/framework.
Establish best practices for QA Automation and Performance Testing.
Conduct root cause analysis for failed automated test scripts.
Analyze business requirements and flesh out acceptance criteria with product owners.
Create reporting to report the status of test runs.
Track defects and provide quality metrics.
Identify and communicate trends to share with leadership and recommend next steps.
Perform manual and automated testing as well as regression testing.
Develop test plans for new features with the goal of test automation.
Write test cases for execution and implementation.
Support our products, identify and fix root causes of production incidents, contribute to troubleshooting and resolution of support issues.
Own product quality and work to quickly address production defects.
Understand and socialize company goals, metrics and align with the team's technical goals.
Challenge yourself and team to stay current with latest technology trends.
Requirements
What you need
Bachelor's in computer science or related discipline; or equivalent work experience
2+ years of industry experience
1+ years of experience creating/executing automated test suites into CI\CD pipelines
1+ years of development experience working with an object-oriented language
Experience building both UI and API automated test suites
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
Knowledge of common test methodologies (BDD, ATDD, TDD, Exploratory testing)
Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
Strong communication, partnership, teamwork skills required
