We are recruiting a Relief 7.5 Tonne Driver/Warehouse Operative for a long established family owned company in Medway Towns. This is a dual role and you must have a full CPC, a digi tacho and a maximum of 3 points and no disqualifications on your driving licence for insurance purposes. A Counterbalance Forklift license is also advantageous.
The position is initially on a temporary basis but can lead to permanent employment after a qualifying period.
The hours for the driver will vary dependant on cover (3am-1pm) Tuesday- Friday / (7am-5pm) Monday-Friday.
Day Rate £9.50, Night Rate, 12am-6am, £11.50 per hour.
Your duties will include solo deliveries, some hand balling and a maximum of 15 delivery drops per day.
In addition to this, you will complete the relevant paperwork and knowledge of refrigerated vehicle temperatures is advantageous.
You will be delivering to Central London and the outskirts of London, South and South east coast, Kent, Middlesex and Windsor.
In the warehouse you will be working 7am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Your duties will include order picking, manual handling and working within the cold store. You will also carry out stock takes, goods in and dispatch.
Candidates will be physically fit as the role involves some heavy lifting and is physically demanding.
