A VOIP/IT Engineer is required for a leading Tunbridge Wells-based business covering Kent/South East. If you are ambitious and looking for a role where you will utilise your existing VoIP telecoms skills, current IT skills such as Active Directory and Microsoft Server and gain exposure to specialist situations, this position will be perfect for you.
Using your experience in installing and configuring Voice Over IP telecommunications systems you will travel to client sites providing a consistent 1st class service. Therefore, you will need to have a full UK driving license be located (or be committed to relocating) within a commutable distance of Kent.

There will also be an occasional requirement to work in the office or from home to provide online support.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure and support telephony solutions, broadband routers and connections to network services
Travel to local client sites when required and provide on-site support to telephone systems and network services

Occasional installation of voice/data cabling infrastructure.
Provide remote service desk support to customers and resolve service tickets
Document and update projects
There may also be a requirement to occasionally support other IT solutions

Requirements:

Experience in installing, configuring and supporting VoIP phone systems is essential (most relevant systems being Panasonic, Gamma, Horizon or other BroadSoft Hosted solutions)
Knowledge of SIP and Broadband.

Experience of configuring routers and integrating telephony to IT networks
Excellent customer facing and communication skills
Full UK driving license
