JOB TITLE: Credit Controller

LOCATION: Dartford

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

SALARY: £22,000- £30,000 per annum depending on experience

BENEFITS: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays. Modern offices, Free Parking, Canteen

CULTURE: Small, close knit Construction company who are relocating in March



We're teaming up with the Manager of this established company to find a new member to join their Finance team. The business is incredibly busy, and they need someone who can help organise and run their finance department to ensure things get done properly!



Skills and attributes necessary

* Previous Credit Control experience
* Previous experience of using SAGE 200
* Tenacious, resilient, and confident
* Account's experience
* Confident over the phone
* Computer literate
* Immediate availability is preferential

Responsibilities

* Chasing overdue payments

· Monitor the credit control inbox for incoming emails and deal with accordingly

· Dealing with any incoming telephone queries

· Chase customers for payments

· Allocate customer receipts

· Reconcile customer accounts

· Resolve customer invoice queries and liaise with other areas of the business when doing so

· Raise any necessary credits for customers

· Weekly customer invoice run

· Monthly customer statement run

· Issue copies of documents when needed

· Opening of new customer accounts on the system

· Run credit checks on customers, reading and distributing any adverse information that arises

· Updating Top Service portal to allow payment chasing letters to be issued

· Prepare paperwork for non-payment court proceedings

· Attend debtor meetings

· Liaise with Accounts Payable over invoices in query

· Keeping up to date filing record and customer database
