Infrastructure Analyst

Fully Remote

£350 - £400 per day - Inside IR35

12 Month Contract

Cleared to SC or NPPV3 Level



Understanding needed: VMware, Networking, VPN, Firewalls, Windows Pro, Windows Home, Linux (Ubuntu), Security and vulnerability remediation a VMware environment. AWS knowledge would be useful.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with an excellent support background in VMware technologies and VDI to join a successful company.



The role involves being on call Monday - Friday to receive calls and provide support to up to 20 Super Users.



You can expect to be:

* Performing daily checks of the system to ensure it is operating as expected
* Checking all backups have completed
* Maintaining the system and updating all documentation
* Responding to security alerts from a national monitoring service
* On-boarding new Super Users to the system
* Attending monthly service reviews
* Monitor system alerts and taking action where required
* Managing failures; working with relevant third parties
* Providing on-call support for the platform



The successful candidate will have experience in a previous role and be able to commit to the full 12-month contract. This role is fully remote, however the candidate must be located within the UK.
