This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Global logistics company in Dartford, who are recruiting for a permanent Exports Coordinator.
This role is to ensure that each transportation is well recorded concerning duties (Customs, CMR, EUR, EAD) and that requested bookings are made to the clients partners according to the shipment.
To check that all administration information is correct to take well into account the transportation value for customers and for internal back billing (verify loading metres, forwarding charges, cubic measurement) by the EDI.
* Chasing previous week export trailers
* Organise collection via internal / external partners
* Accurate administration and processing of shipments
* Create transport documents (Consignment notes, CMR, ATR, BL, EUR1, etc.)
* Liaise with customer service, bookings, warehouse, overseas offices, hauliers, drivers and clearance agents
* Check for valid VAT / EORI numbers for shipments
* Receiving bookings from internal and external clients
* Dangerous goods compatibility checks
* Crossing bookings
* Shipments barcodes
* Prepare drivers files
* Organise custom clearances
To be successful in this role you must have experience in international road freight and understand transport legislation.
This is a Monday to Friday role with the working hours of 9am - 6pm.
