About the role: Are you a conscientious and hard-working individual? Do you work with a high level of professionalism in everything that you do? Are you keen to join a highly successful and inspirational academy? The Hundred of Hoo Academy have a truly exciting opportunity to appoint an Administrator for our primary phase who will join us from February 2022. Our successful candidate will be liaising with the secondary academy attendance officer to lead on the administration of attendance in the primary phase.

Applicants should be professional, personable and committed to providing an excellent service on behalf of the academy, and above all else our appointed candidate will have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude. Our ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and planning skills, an outstanding attention to detail, the ability to work on own initiative with a high level of commitment and enthusiasm. Strong IT skills and knowledge of Google suite is also desirable. Please be aware that reception duties will be associated with this role.

The working basis of the role is permanent, Term Time plus 1 week of inset, 37 hours per week (8.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 3.30pm Friday).

Working with our academy: The Hundred of Hoo Academy is a unique all through academy with pupils from Reception up to Sixth Form, and whilst this role supports the entire academy, it is most likely the successful candidate will work with pupils aged 11-16 on a daily basis. In September 2011, The Hundred of Hoo converted to academy status. Just one year later, Ofsted judged the academy as “good with outstanding features” recognising the relentless focus and ambition that we have. In September 2015 the academy welcomed its first Reception class thereby extending its age range to 4-year-old children. This exciting provision demonstrates the academy’s sense of ambition to serve the community where pupils’ academic journey represents a cradle to university principle.

We are delighted to announce that following a recent Ofsted inspection in July 2018 the academy has been judged 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features in terms of our early years provision and effectiveness of leadership and management.

In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
