Estimator and pre-construction manager to work with civils contractor for a permanent job in Sussex.

Your new company
Working with an established southern civils contractor with a turnover in excess of £90m. Involved with projects upto £15m. Projects predominately with Environment Agency; Water; Marine; rivers and Infrastructure sectors. They are involved with highways and bridge construction; civic improvement works, such as developing public areas in a natural, ecological environment; sites of special scientist interest or conservation areas; Windfarms, pumping stations and electrical sub-stations etc. They are an appointed member of a National framework for civils work.

Your new role
Working in the Estimating and pre-tender team responsible for overseeing, pricing, compiling and liaising with colleagues to produce accurate and winning tenders.

What you'll need to succeed

* Experience of estimating projects upto £15m
* Previous Bid Management involvement
* Ideally knowledge of Environment Agency; Water; Marine; rivers and Infrastructure sectors
* Understanding of civils project lifecycle and design and construct process
* Ability to manage and prioritise a tender pipeline, sometimes to tight timeframes
* Skilled at liaising with all departments to get the best company knowledge to support the bids
* Familiar with delivering successful tenders and accurately modelling project risks
