Role & Responsibilities
· End to end sales process:
o Telesales and face to face appointment setting
o Identify potential new customers
o Identify and scope customer requirements, writing proposals and closing opportunities for a wide range of technology solutions as well as managed services
o Managing and development of customer accounts
o Research new sales opportunities within accounts
· Generate attendance at events and briefings
· Sales related administration
· Actively engage in training and development opportunities offered by vendors and distributors alongside internal training programmes
Essential Skills and Experience Required
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Outstanding rapport building abilities
· A passion to deliver the best service possible
· A love of collaborating and working with other likeminded people
· Strong documentation skills and a keen interest in writing creatively
· Strong academic background educated to at least A Level standard, we are particularly interested in candidates with good grades in humanities subjects such as English Literature and History
· Able to use Microsoft Office to a good standard, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Highly Desirable
· A proven track record within a target driven environment
· History of working in an IT Sales focused role
· Knowledge and understanding of the IT Sales channel and where different companies fit in
