Job Title: Customer Relations Executive

Salary: £20 - 25,000

Location: West Kent (Tonbridge) - currently working remotely, hybrid working will be an option in the future.



A fantastic opportunity for Customer Relations Executives to join a successful and established insurance company based in West Kent.



The purpose of the role is to assist the Team Managers in managing complaints and investigating claims to prevent fraud.



Duties include:

* Recording concerns and complaints from customers.
* Liaising with policyholders regarding complaints.
* Reviewing escalated complaints and completing investigations in order to send Final Response Letter.
* Preparing Ombudsman submissions and responding to any further queries.
* Ensuring all complaints data is accurate and up to date, reviewing regularly.
* Developing and updating complaints training in collaboration with the Training Department.
* Mentoring team members in order to develop their skills and capabilities.



The successful candidate will have:

* Relevant experience dealing with the Financial Ombudsman Service.
* Great investigative skills and the ability to pick out the relevant points.
* An understanding of complaints within a home insurance claims environment. Ideally, experience managing home insurance claim complaints to FOS level. If this is within escape of water/theft claims, even better!
* Knowledge of industry anti-fraud techniques.
* A can-do attitude full of energy, and a positive approach.
* Good administrative and organisation skills.
* Good IT skills, with a good level of English and numeracy.
* Great telephone manner, with an approachable personality and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
* Very high attention to detail.
* Professionalism, tact and assertiveness dealing with difficult conversations and people who may be angry or upset.
