Your new company

Hays Education are currently working with a secondary school in Thanet who is looking to recruit a long term qualified Maths teacher to start asap to cover maternity leave.

Your new role

In your new role you'll be responsible for the teaching of Maths to KS3 and KS4 pupils of mixed ability. As this a full time role you will be assessing and marking pupils work ensuring they are on track to achieve targeted grades. You will be working on a full time basis.

What you'll need to succeed

Your passion and enthusiasm for teaching Maths will come across to pupils as it is essential that you build relationships quickly and create a positive learning environment. You will have QTS/QLTS or be an early career teacher (ECT). You'll be comfortable with working with pupils are a lower ability and some with SEND and be able to accommodate lessons to this ability.
