Our client is a well-established organisation specialising in the handling, storage and freight forwarding of temperature-controlled commodities as well as handling a broad range of projects and general cargoes.

An opportunity for an Operations Supervisor has arisen and would suit an experienced warehouse supervisor looking to progress with their career. Reporting to the Operations management team you will work with a crew of staff planning, maintaining, and overseeing all operations and labour on your shift.

Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to work up to a 12 hours shift on a rota basis of days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. This permanent contract is offering 40 hours a week.

We are seeking candidates with the following:
• Previous supervisory experience within warehouse or stock movement operation.
• Experience in maintaining optimum productivity with operations and staffing
• Have excellent planning and delegation skills
• Be computer literate and proficient in MS Office
• You will be experienced in motivating a team therefore you will have good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• It is essential that you are physically fit be able to climb ladders and work at heights
