Job Title: Commercial Manager
Salary: £60-£70k per year
Location: Central London
I am actively recruiting on behalf of a Central London client who specialise in refurbishment & Fitout on luxury residential projects in Central London on a Permanent basis. You will be site based, dealing with client's projects.
Duties include:
* The role will involve all elements of cost control, and will comprise general surveying duties
* Placing subcontract orders
* Preparing monthly valuations
* Pricing variations
* Authorising sub-contractor payments
* Buying materials
* Managing hired plant
* Preparation of O & M's
* Health and safety records and day to day site administration.
* Estimating new projects and preparation of bids will also be required.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have at least 5 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager for a main contractor or similar projects
* Minimum HNC in construction
* Be highly presentable for client meetings
* Full clean driving licence
* Excellent spoken English/communication
* Strive to be the best in their field
* Pay excellent attention to detail
* Fully IT literate
* Be able to demonstrate analytical thinking skills
* Can use your initiative.
